Every drop in the ocean
Is what really matters. OK, so Stay Hungry has sold 100,000th copies but it’s the impact on individuals that makes me really happy. Sharing an email which gave me goosebumps!
Dear Rashmi,
I met you when you were at IIM Ahmedabad at inauguration function of SHSF. It was really a pleasure. I picked up three copies there and gave one to my brother in U.S. another to papa and one I kept for me. When recently a Gujarati version was launched, I went there and brought Gujarati version for my wife who can’t read English well.
I gave this book to them all because after reading it they support my start up. After reading Naukri.Com chapter my papa made a room ready on the top of our house for my internet venture which had already started earning of some months.
My mom was fickle initially but after this book, she was somewhat comfortable with my idea to invest more in this ongoing venture. My wife also became rock solid and motivated. Having our own product, doing something on our own ideas is fun. I have however not left my main job for my part time internet venture because I want committed income till the time I make my single handed venture into an organization.
Making single handed start up an organization is bit a tougher task then starting a venture. Let’s see what happen. But SHSF has been great help. The way you have written is amazing. There is food and fast food both in this book, the way you have written. Thank you for this book.
J.P., Ahmedabad.
If Stay Hungry has touched you.. please do share by emailing me! Every feedback means a lot, and keeps me going as I write the next book. A sequel. Nine chapters down… some way to go still. Enjoying the journey!

I had started by company immediately after graduating as an Engineer, I am not from any IIM, but the stories that you have written about IIM Alumni entrepreneurs are same as many other entrepreneurs’.
This is one of the best books any entrepreneur any where can refer to and read. I am sure, this book should have inspired 1000s of youngsters.
Good work

Dear Rashmi,
Wonderful book. The idea is great and unique. May be you can also profile people from other background as well. Like they all say in the book coming IIM-A was bonus. But what about others? Are they equally lucky?
I am also joining the small group and plan to start a school of my own. It should be up and running on April 1, 2010. Will keep you posted.
Best wishes for the next book.
